For my Sister

I've not had time recently to make cards but made this one for my sister's birthday. I used my tag making punch for the 'Sister' tag. The backing paper was a block type print and my sister looked closely and asked if I printed it myself! It's a very pretty paper and the colours are lovely.

Get well card

My mum asked me to make a simple 'Get Well' card for a family friend and this is what I made.

I got a lovely book from the library called Oriental Papercrafts. There are some lovely projects in the book, here's a japanese lady bookmark. I think she looks nice!!

Wedding Card and On Your Special Day Card

Here is my first Wedding Congratulatons card. I made the cake first and then decorated it before sticking it to the card.

The other card is an 'On Your Special Day' card and I especially like the colour of this card!

My sister passed an exam this week so I had to make a card quite quickly for her to say Congrats!! Here is the card.

A Few New Cards...

I've made a few new cards this weekend including my first 'shaped' card which is Tag shaped. I was pleased with how well this card came out so may try a few more soon!!!! It has a retro look to it!!

Sock Monkeys

Towards the end of last year I got into making these monkeys out of socks - one pair of socks = one monkey!!!! They are easy enough to make and make great gifts for kids and adults alike!!! It's very addictive and you can end up with a whole army of sock monkeys before you know it!!!

I have made many of these bookmarks and they are always very popular when I give them as a gift!! No two bookmarks that I have made are the same!!!

Watch with Beaded Bracelet

I love these watches. They are abit different and can be blinged up or down. I've made a few of these now in various colours with different shaped watch faces.

Inspired by my recent trip to Cornwall where VW Campers feature on alot of postcards and artwork I have made this card. I tried to make it less girly so that it can be sent to a man!!
