Wedding Card

As spring is approaching I thought I'd start making some cards for weddings and births!!!  These things tend to happen when the weather improves!!

I've used my Cuttlebug to emboss the dress and I cut out a top layer to the dress which I also embossed.  I edged the dress with a Sakura pen and also used it on some of the swirls to make them stand out abit.  I added some small gems and some ribbon for the waistband and some ric rac on the bottom to creat a fluted hem.  I have used DST to fix the top layer of the dress to the main layer but on the scalloped edge I used foam pads to give the impression that the top layer puffs out.  The back ground paper has confetti on it so I punched out small hearts to go with that and coloured them with Promarkers.  The sentiment is a bargain bucket one from the range that cost 99p!  I've added Stickles to it and edged it with a Sakura pen to give it abit of bling!

    What a fab card - love the effect of the embossing on the dress. Knowing how crafty you are did you cut the dress out, or is it a diecut? Love all the bling on the card xxx
