Brrr the weather is really turning chilly in the UK. Winter is definitely on it's way!!
Well the flannels reindeers are still very popular and have been featured in lots of places. I have made a batch of them for a local Christmas market that I will be doing at the end of November. Luckily, I still had some brown flannels (face cloths) as they are not in Wilkinsons this year! I used red pipe cleaners as I already had some of these in my stash as well!
Here is this year's reindeer
I made some cute labels using kraft card and I used my reindeer quick kutz die to make some little reindeer heads to stick onto the labels.
I only made 9 reindeers as I didn't have anymore of the cloths in brown but it is enough to take to the Christmas market!!
Don't forget if you would like to have a go at making these yourself, there is a tutorial on my blog to show you how!
I enjoy crafting and like to try my hand at different things. Anyway - today, I have finally sat and done a photo tutorial for Flannel Reindeers as I have had lots of comments and views on my post that I did on these a year or two back. It went onto Pinterest and appeared in a few US online publications!!
If you'd like to make them, my tutorial can be found here

****Updated****
Ok just to answer a question regarding the cloth used:
To the lady that pointed out that it isn't flannel fabric but terry towelling - I'm in the UK we call the cloth a flannel and it doesn't refer to the fabric which is indeed towelling. A flannel in the UK is a cloth that you wash with!!
*** Update - Thank you to those of you that have taken the time to comment, it means alot to me. I've had some lovely comments and a couple of strange ones - I've ignored the strange ones as those people were just weirdo's!!!! Thank you also to people that are following my blog and to those of you that have headed over to Facebook and liked my page Bumble Bee's Craft Den.
FYI this post has been viewed more than 94,000 times, I am flabbergasted!!!!!!!!

New Flannel Reindeers
I've been making some Flannel Reindeers for a school fair that I am going to - I made these last year as well and they were quite popular. I need to get more flannels as I only had 6! For anyone not familiar with these they are made from a flannel/wash cloth and have a bar of soap inside. They make a nice novelty stocking filler.
Here's 2 that I made earlier!!! The eyes on the right one are perfectly straight, it's just the angle that I photographed them trying to get the best light!!
UPDATE - Here my tutorial for flannel reindeers.
