Sock Dog!

I've been trying to make time to try out a few new sock animals but everytime I think I might get a chance I end up getting an order  and make that instead!!  This weekend in between doing an order, I had a go at making a Sock Dog.  I wasn't sure I was going to like it whilst I was making the dog but it's grown on me and I actually love the quirky look it has!!!  It was harder than the kitty and the monkey as it was abit fiddly in places.

Well - following my post yesterday about the moulds and the results, I decided to make some earrings and a ring with the charms that I had made.

Bag of Scraps!!

Last week I popped into the fabric shop in town to get some ribbons that I needed urgently.  I always have a rummage in the bargain bin and have picked up some nice bits from there.  Anyway, this time I found 2 small plastic bags of small bits of  fabric for 10p each!!!  I wasn't sure what was in the bag really but thought for that price I'd take a chance!  When I got home I emptied them out and tey were crammed full of fabric squares in lots of different textures and colours including velvet!!!

I have been wanting to do patchwork for ages so this will be perfect for it!  I just need to find a template for a nice Hexagon now to start it!

Mini Silicone Moulds

It's been a long time since I played with my fimo!!!  I had been searching for some mini moulds to use with it and came across a fab site called A World of Moulds.  It's a family run business and they have a fantastic selection of moulds made from silicone that are easy to use.  They can also be used for making sugarcraft cake toppers, candles, soaps and melts as well.

Their website is quite new and they will be adding more things to it shortly.  The customer service is great and they answer any queries promptly.

New Sentiment Stamps

Afternoon!!

I keep seeing some lovely sentiment stamps used on cards so when I saw a link to Pink Gem Designs I popped over to have a look.  I was glad I did as they have 20% off of all of their stamps during January!!!!  I ordered them on Sunday and they arrived today so really fast service.
